Trees for Trampers

I founded Trek Nirvana with the underlying philosophy that adventure tourism should contribute to environmental conservations. I promises you unprecedented joy along with a feeling of gratification.

It is a humble endeavor to save and preserve Mother Nature and her resources. My aim is to make our surroundings clean and green. This will also help to attract birds back to our neighborhoods. I offer our enthusiastic trekkers to plant a tree during their journey which will leave you with a feeling of having been contributed in a small way in preserving our planet. I believe for a perfect planet, we would all have to be out there in our spare time planting trees that can help restore our local habitats, encourage bird life, beautify our neighborhoods and soak up carbon emissions. Albeit, in reality life is so preoccupied that these activities take a back seat. Amid work deadlines and daily stress we find it hard to make our contribution to our Mother Earth. I understand your concern for nature and so offer you a fulfilling opportunity to do your bit for the environment.

Hike - Rajgundha

Trail from Billing leads to Gundha Villages, Rajgundha and kukargundha. Rajgundha means Gundha of Imperial (Royal) is named because it has a lot of wide and open space in front of it. Kukargundha is 1km uphill from Rajgundha, it does not have an open space like Rajgundha thus is known as Kukargundha (Kukkar means Cock, term used for something shrink or tiny). Villagers use land to grow Potatoes and Red Beans. Village is hardly accessible during winter season. We walked 4 hrs from billing to reach Rajgundha it’s an easy walk but no hike is easy hike. All thoughts vanish when we see a nostalgic view of Thumbsar Pass. Whenever I see this pass it’s always a new feel ‘Sahib mera neet nava’ (Whenever I see my love it’s always new and fresh).

It's a story of biking on worlds highest motorable road:

Bike on world highest motorable road needs allot of planning for Me and My friend Vineet Gautam it’s a new challenge that we set for us with little or no knowledge. We have time and the search started for our MountainBike.

Its 2010 and Our friend Google has very less information about this Adventure trip, as we have done the route on Motor Bike so we are aware of the challenges and the places where we can stay.

We started searching for good mountain bikes and our search narrows down to Cannondale F7, it’s a month of March and we still had 5 months to go. We were able to get the bikes imported and when we first ride our bike, I recall the lines said by Newton ‘I thought of it while riding a cycle'.
