The periods I share alongside my cherished family and friends, coupled with expeditions through the Canadian Rockies, the Himalayas, and diverse global journeys, serve as the driving force behind my leap into entrepreneurship. This marks the commencement of a life-encompassing entrepreneurial odyssey, heralded by the establishment of "Trek Nirvana," Guelph's premier travel agency.
Embark on over a decade of thrilling expeditions in the Himalayas and across the globe. The term "Dharamsala," symbolizing impermanence, encapsulates the essence of these journeys. Born in 1984 in northern India, my life has evolved as a continuous odyssey towards personal Nirvana. This journey unfolds naturally; I merely observe, refraining from imposing a 'Self.'
Discover the purpose behind every occurrence. One pivotal milestone is my inaugural road bike expedition in 2009 through the challenging Spiti Valley in the Eastern Himachal region of the Indian Himalayas. Conquer demanding terrains, traverse passes, and engage in cycling, hiking, and biking adventures to Earth's highest motorable road.
Moments spent amidst nature inspire a return to work and evoke an astral connection. These experiences fuel my mission to spread love within society, sustained by the constant allure of the mountains.
These journeys extend beyond mountains, drawing one closer to nature and Nirvana. They teach the art of living and foster a profound affinity for life. Each crossing, interaction, and mountain vista yields lessons and experiences shared with the world.
How We Started
Allow me to introduce the dynamic trio that powers Trek Nirvana – Guelph best Travel Agency and your gateway to remarkable tours and travel around the globe. I am Guruasish Singh, the visionary founder, driven by a relentless passion for exploration. Standing beside me is my incredible partner in adventure, Jagminder, whose spirit matches mine. And of course, there's Murphy, our four-legged adventurer, adding an element of fun to every expedition. Together, we form the heart and soul of Trek Nirvana, dedicated to curating exceptional travel escapades for fellow wanderers like yourself.
Initially, self-doubt clouded my aspirations for mountain adventures through hiking and biking. I challenged these doubts, discovering freedom beyond their boundaries. We embarked on my journey with biking in Himachal, followed by treks and cycles in Ladakh and the Himalayas. From crossing passes to camping beneath heavenly skies, nature's essence unfolded
This journey is more than a journey; it's about discovering oneself within mountain majesty. Nights devoid of pollution and days free from thoughts bring true liberation.
Amid these peaks, weeks become heavenly, yet progress hinges on the harmony of the mountains. Confronting challenges births character, beckoning introspection—a path toward self-compassion.
In this venture, We crossed over passes like Indrahar and Jalsu, trekking to Bada Bhangal and Dhauladhar Lakes. With unwavering enthusiasm, Our journey extended to Canada in 2015 with my family. Balancing an IT career, We explored Ontario's trails, leading hikes along the Bruce Trail and coordinating hikes with the Guelph Hiking Trail Club.
During the pandemic's constraints, unable to revisit the Himalayas, my passion redirected to the Canadian Rockies. Joining the Alpine Club of Canada's GMC, I embraced my first mountain climb beyond the Himalayas. While differences were apparent, the allure of nature remained unaltered.
And the journey continues like a perpetually turning wheel. May prosperity shine upon all.
